Tallink MyStar

Following the success of the awarded Tallink Megastar shuttle (2017) Tallink invited our company to design also its sister vessel MyStar. The idea was to update and upgrade the cruise experience with new ideas, looks and design. This time our company was responsible of the design of the entire ship, even the cabins.

Beauty of the Baltic Sea, the design theme of the vessel, has been treated creatively on entire vessel to delight the journey. The intentionally designed long eye-catching views animate the will to explore the ship with its many offerings. 

To entertain its 2800 passengers during the two hour journey we designed several different types of experience islands that suit the needs of different kinds of customer groups and ease the navigation on board.

Special attention was paid to the smooth customer flow and planning the most functional and entertaining layout to cater to various customer groups from families and businessmen, to solo travelers and groups.

Every restaurant, buffet, café, pub, bar and lounge was given an intense character of its own not only by choice of furniture, materials, colors and graphic design but also with adaptable atmospheric lighting.

The novelties include a picnic themed family area and a terracegarden where you can enjoy fresh sea breeze with drinks. Great attention was also paid to the design of the experience-oriented customer path of the two-story tax-free shop, said to be the largest sailing shopping mall around.
