Flexible office interior with local twist

Multinational consulting firm decided to expand and renovate their Helsinki office in 2020. Like in their other offices around the globe, they wanted to bring some local elements into their well-established brand image to give it a distinctive upscale look and sense of place. New office design was also expected to work as a tool for establishing new kind of working methods and to emphasize the importance of communication even within the company.

To meet the various needs of the consulting company the 1500 m2 office space was divided into three zones — public zone for clients, semi-public working cafe zone and strictly private working zone for confidential consultancy work. The public zone was dotted with a great variety of meeting spaces to cater to different kinds of clients. Among more traditional working spaces in the private zone, there are also various wellness rooms that give an opportunity for the employees to recharge while at work. 

Our services included: quality standard definition, space program development and functional design, change management, workspace concept design, interior architect services and project management. 

To meet the company design guidelines the project was conducted in close co-operation with the company's domestic and global workspace teams.
