Crowne Plaza Helsinki Hesperia

Inspired by Hesperia’s glamorous past and a more approachable atmosphere in mind we set out to update its appearance and create even stronger atmospheres to its various spaces. This required some bigger changes to the original layout and moving the entrance, for example, but also designing plenty of unique furniture and lighting ensembles. In addition to larger changes, we also took care of the overall styling of the premises with smaller design objects.

Historically we connected the hotel to the unique environment of Töölönlahti park situated in front of the hotel. Its rich flora and fauna was source of inspiration for unique graphic elements designed for the hotel. The connection to the park was also emphasized with a selection of plants in the hall and the restaurant.

In addition, the hotel was updated with working related elements. Thanks to comfortable furniture choices that take working into account, tapping on the laptop is possible not only in the lobby's working lounge but also in the bar and waiting areas. Same functional attitude applies also to the rooms although even there the main focus was on creating a warm and atmospheric overall look.
